Our Beautiful Girl
Matah Wia, better knows as Teeter, Tah, or T. Our beautiful girl crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on February 4th, 2022 after have several seizures within a week and not being able to recovery from them we made the very difficult decision to let her go. She was 12 at the time and would have been 13 in March. Teeter was healthy otherwise. This was an incredible shock and lose to us.
After we brought her home and she settled into life with our family she successfully killed a GPS/radio, dug up the carpet in our backroom, and the list goes on and one. For the first several years she was referred to as the devil child as she was always into something. She also had these little hairs that stuck up next to her ears that made it look like she had little horns so it was very fitting.
One thing that Matah was is very loyal. She loved her family and protected them anyway she could. She loved all the adventures with her dad. My husband and Match went everywhere together. Matah’s best friend was our Ishtay “Moose”. We lost Ishtay on December 28th, 2021 and believe to this day that she missed her so much and just couldn’t be without her. They are both running around chasing squirrels, bunnies, and gophers up there waiting for us. Our hearts are very broken by the loss of our two girls, but are very thankful we have our two boys that keep us moving.
I am looking back through pictures, looking for ones of Matah to add to the gallery and I have so many pictures of her but she is either walking away or has her head turned. You pull out your phone or a camera and she doesn’t want anything to do with you! It was rare to get her to look at the camera.
